This exposure may lead to violent and other anti-social behaviors. Any clinician helping youth with these problems should read this book. It is helpful, clear, and a great resource.

Moreover, it contains assessment tools and resources to actually help these children. It is helpful to have an overview of this controversial therapy before the family and child takes part.

It is a wealth of information on understanding what happens when the parent-child bond is interrupted or not fostered, and the many ill effects of this situation from ADD to oppositional defiance disorder. I finally understand why my children are the way they are and why conventional therapies have not and will not work!
